SHAFTS AND DISCS

If you want a quality product or a material with robustness to slot impacts, you can choose to forge up your shafts and discs.

ProMetal provide shafts in different shapes and sizes. From small gear pinions to flanged shafts and propeller shafts. Flanged shafts are provided with flanges up to approx. Ø1500mm and a maximum length of approx. 16,000mm.

Discs and rondelles are a large part of our portfolio as well. Regardless it being a shaft, disc or any other material needed, we are able to deliver in the following materials:

• Carbon steel (S255, S355, P355, C 22.8, C-45, CK45 etc.)
• Low and medium-alloy steel (42CrMo4, 34CrNiMo6, 30CrNiMo8 etc.)
• High alloy steel (various stainless materials, duplex, super duplex, titanium etc.)

All materials are furthermore provided with 3,1 certificate or 3,2 certificate through various classification associations like DNV, LRS, BV, TüV etc.

All of our plants have their own test laboratory where mechanical attributes like the ultimate strength, yield point and impact strength are measured. Besides, we provide materials tested down to minus 40 degrees Celsius.

If you furthermore wants the materials to be ultra sound tested, or with any other kind of NDT-test, we are able to fulfill this as well.
